While still in college, Katherine began her career in public accounting. She provided comprehensive services for shareholders from audits and tax preparation to estate tax planning and fiduciary reporting.  In 1990, she started her own firm providing proactive tax planning and complex tax reporting as the cornerstones of her services.  Adding financial and insurance services along with a competent team allowed her to develop clients’ true wealth designs with tax-advantaged income streams for the future.  After her father became ill, Katherine saw the need for senior event planning in every financial design to protect those streams of income and the physical and emotional health of loved ones.

Katherine holds a BBA from Texas A&M University in Accounting.  She is certified as a public accountant, a personal financial specialist, a professional coach and a long-term care specialist.  She has served on numerous boards including the Houston CPA Society and the TSCPA Insurance Trust Board.  Katherine is an active volunteer in her community, professional and alumnae associations.  She developed and conducts a coaching class in her church.  She has won numerous awards for communication and creativity.   She even shares her home on the continental divide in Colorado.
